COMMUNITY PLANNING

HAWAII STATE PLAN ON AGING (2004-2007)

In order to be eligible for grants from allotments from Title III and Title VII of the Older Americans Act, as amended, EOA is required to submit to the Assistant Secretary for Aging, U.S. Administration on Aging, a State plan that meets the criteria as regulations prescribe. EOA must comply with the provisions of the Older Americans Act and require each Area Agency on Aging to develop and submit to the State agency for approval an area plan. The area plans become the base for the State plan.
