Who Is Eligible For KUPUNA CARE Services?
KUPUNA CARE is available to meet the needs of older adults who
cannot live at home without adequate help from family and/or formal
services. It is designed to assist, not totally support, Hawaii's

targets older adults having difficulty in performing two or more functions
of daily living. To qualify for KUPUNA CARE services, an individual
must meet the following requirements:

- 60 years of age or older
- Not covered by any comparable government or private home- and
community-based care services

a portion of the service. The client's co-payment amount is based
on the older adult's monthly net income. Out-of-pocket medical expenses,
and emergency situations will be considered
