Requirements for Posting
Procurement Notices

Please note: Amended rules were effective 1/23/06 and affect procurement notices.
The submittal deadline for RFPs shall be at least twenty-eight days from the release date of the request for proposals.
The following shall have public procurement notices:
Competitive Purchase of Service (requests for proposals or RFPs)
Restrictive Purchase of Service (sole source)
Note: effective 1/23/06, restrictive notices for the executive branch
whose chief procurement officer is the administrator of the State
Procurement Office will be
posted by the State Procurement Office.
Requests for Information (RFI)
Required:
Procurement notices shall be posted on the Procurement Notices System (PNS) website.
NOTE: For RFPs, the RFPs shall be posted to the RFP website (RFPW).
RFI Notices shall be posted on the Procurement Notices System (PNS).
Optional:
State agencies may also publish procurement notices in the newspaper.
Note: If publishing in the newspaper, state agencies shall publish in accordance with the Pricelist for Statewide Publication of Public and Procurement Notices. (See link below).
RFPs may also be posted on the PNS. However, the PNS will only accept one document and you will not be able to post any addenda. All RFPs shall be posted on the RFP website
Competitive (RFP) -
A brief description of the service desired;
When and where copies of the request for proposals will be available (include the RFP website as well as where they may pick up or request a hard copy be mailed to them;
The submittal deadline for proposals in response to the request for proposals; and
The time and place for the orientation, if any, for the request for proposals.
Any other information deemed necessary.

Restrictive (Sole Source) -
In the restrictive request form is a template. Use it.

RFPs must also be posted on the RFP Website (RFPW) from the date the RFP is first available. This is in addition to the PNS.
Note: The website will automatically archive the RFP after the due date to a "closed RFPs" webpage.
